Drones or infrared cameras have discovered traces of rare wild animals in Gansu, Sichuan, and Zhejiang, reflecting the continuous improvement of China"s ecological environment. Let’s take a close look.

In Subei County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, 11 jackals with reddish brown fur and dark brown tail were recorded by UAVs when they were moving in the mountains. Qilian Mountains is one of the important habitats for jackals. The frequent appearance of jackals plays an important role in maintaining the structural integrity of the local ecosystem.

Sichuan Giant Panda National Park has collected two images of the activities of the wild giant pandas with one giant panda walking gracefully towards the infrared camera.

According to the fourth national giant panda survey, there are currently over 400 wild giant pandas in Mianyang of Sichuan province, accounting for 22.4% of the total giant panda population in China.

A green lizard recently discovered in Pan"an County, Zhejiang Province, was identified as the unique rare and endangered species of Takydromus sylvaticus in China. Unlike other lizards, this type of lizard is emerald green in color and has a white belly, making it blend in with the environment and difficult to be discovered.
